Protect Yourself From Fraudulent Individuals Claiming to Represent MCIS Life

MCIS Life would like to alert the public of any incidents involving individuals falsely posing as our staff, agents, or authorised representatives. These scammers may use phone calls, text messages, or social media to convince victims that they have an urgent insurance matter — often claiming that a policy, claim, or payout is under your name.

Their intention is to mislead you into sharing personal details such as your NRIC number, address, banking information or one-time passwords (OTP). Please be reminded that MCIS Life will never request sensitive information through unsolicited communication.
 

How to Stay Safe
  • Be cautious of unexpected calls or messages asking for your personal or financial details.

  • Do not share any confidential information, even if the caller claims to be from MCIS Life.

  • Hang up immediately if you feel pressured, threatened, or uncomfortable.

  • Always verify with us directly through our official channels before taking any action.

If You Suspect Fraud

If you believe you have been approached by an impersonator or have mistakenly provided information:

1. Contact your bank immediately if your financial details were shared
2. Lodge a police report at the nearest station
